Toxins

Using medical-grade neurotoxins has proved a consistently safe and effective way to have a non-surgical brow lift. By dampening the muscles that cause wrinkles, this treatment can smooth current wrinkles and prevent the formation of new ones. This option is best for patients who want to smooth wrinkles and lines but not tighten up loose skin.

We provide four types of toxins for treating forehead wrinkles, including Botulinum, Dysport, Xeomin, and Daxxify. Each has its own advantages and can be part of a non-surgical brow lift. However, Dysport is particularly beneficial for forehead treatments as it can disperse more quickly over larger treatment areas. This treatment modality is best for patients who want less commitment and more flexibility with touchup treatments.

Is a Non-Surgical Brow Lift Right for Me?

The best candidates for a non-surgical forehead lift are those who have cosmetic concerns about their forehead area. Some of these key issues that candidates want to address include wrinkles and fine lines, frown lines, and a mild heaviness to the brow.

While there are limitations to the extent of change a non-surgical treatment can provide, many patients are surprised at how effective it can be. Is There a Recovery Period?

One of the key advantages of a non-surgical brow lift is that patients have little to no time needed for recovery. While a traditional brow lift can require two weeks of complete downtime in addition to a gradual recovery, this treatment is far milder. Whether choosing injectables or smooth threads, patients usually will only have about 1-2 days of mild side effects, such as swelling and redness. In many cases, patients can have a treatment over the weekend and be back to work at the start of the following week.

Non-Surgical Forehead Lift Results

The time it takes to see the results of your non-surgical brow lift can vary, depending on the severity of wrinkles. For toxin treatments, some immediate results can be seen, but the greatest benefit is seen in the weeks and months following treatment. As the muscles remain relaxed, the places where they would normally contribute to wrinkles can recover and smooth out. While the results can last for months at a time, patients can see the best outcomes by having routine touchup treatments between 1-3 times per year.
